Probably one of the most amazing sites I've ever seen in my life was then Senator Barak Obama, giving a speech in Berlin in 2008 in front of over 200,000 people.  To think that 60 years ago, he would have been arrested just for being black there.  But in 2008, he was the focus of that country during that day.

"Obama in Berlin, 2008" is an expression of that reality as the black senator stands in front of a sea of white faces, striking his iconic pose of that day.

It was such an incredible sight to witness that even 2 years later I was still compelled to do this piece.  The piece means so much to me that I am limiting the prints for sale to only 5.  And I have every hope that I will be able to give one of those 5 to now President Obama.
