Everyone's favourite founding father, George Washington, was larger than life. Almost literally. The man was as tall as a tree, and revered in his time. "Minimal George" was an exercise in seeing how much of his image I could strip away, while still being able to recognize him. How many people in history can say that with only a few lines they are recognizable to so many.
This piece, while historical in nature, still has a bit of an abstract and pop-art feel to it so that you don't need to be a historian to appreciate it.
There are only 10, original, full size, hand signed prints that will ever be printed. Each will come with a certificate of authenticity, signed by me.
